Euro (EUR) is the official monetary unit of the European Union.
The currency is accepted in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Finland and Slovenia, and in other member states that have joined the eurozone since.
One euro consists of 100 cents.
