The Estonian kroon (EEK) was the currency of Estonia. One kroon was subdivided into 100 senti. Coins were denominated 10, 20 and 50 senti and 1 and 5 krooni; banknotes were denominated 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 500 krooni. Estonia adopted the euro on 1 January 2011 at the fixed conversion rate of 15.6466 krooni per euro; the rate shown here is unofficial and derived from the current euro exchange rate using that fixed ratio.
