The Lithuanian litas (LTL) was the currency of Lithuania. One litas was subdivided into 100 centų. Coins were denominated 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 centų and 1, 2 and 5 litai; banknotes were denominated 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 litai. The ISO numeric code for the litas is 440.
